Talk about successful alumni? All were members of the 1998 team, best in school history with a record 10 wins. Oh yeah, they defeated the National Champions UMass twice during the season.

At 86 years young, the legendary Coach Baylock remains the heartbeat of UConn athletics — he played, coached, mentored across football and baseball for decades. We dive deep into his impact, unmatched energy, he connects with players, and alumni today.

Phil is magnetic. A UConn alum with a master’s and law degree, Phil assented and came back to Storrs. His brilliant mind, forward‑thinking, continue to elevate the university’s athletic and academic presence.
